Customer Check-in: Six Months After Solar Installation

Lower Bills, Even Through Winter
When asked about the impact on his electricity bills, Alastair shared:
“It went exactly as planned. Well, they’ve come down quite considerably over a period of time.
We’ve been through the winter period, and I’ve still had quite a large reduction in my electricity bill. And that’s what I really wanted.”

Maximising Energy Storage with a Battery
With the transition into the sunnier months, the customer has seen even greater efficiency in how his system operates:
“Now we’re getting into the summertime, the batteries are now starting to work more efficiently because I’ve got more energy being generated in the day that I’m not using.
Therefore, it’s going to the battery.”
A solar battery allows homeowners to store excess energy generated during the day for use at night or during peak demand times. This not only maximises savings but also provides greater energy independence.
